Welcome: London Irish : OPENING OF AVIVA STADIUM TICKETS AVAILABLE: Communications : T is and Dat:  Directory:

Happy new season everyone.

Yes it's that  time of the year.

The first team squad have been doing their individual work and meet to morrow morning in Churchtown for the first training session of the season.

Welcome to Andrew Mitchell, Vic Ball, David Thompson, Eddie Downes and Killian Keogh who join, rejoin the squad from last season. A particular welcome in a new role to Julian Moroney who is  putting the boots back on for the coming season.

With four teams being promoted to the new League system we have no qualms in nailing to the mast our ambition to being one of them . There is no doubt that 80% of the denizens of division 2 will have (and rightly so)  the same goal so it should make for an exciting competitive league. Whilst the fixtures are not out yet please make a mental pledge to travel to at least one away game. Perhaps with the efficient utilisation of floodlit games we could strive to have each junior team available to travel to at  least one away game. Come on Salmo.

London Irish
The first fixture of the season for the 1st XV will be against a London Irish select. This will form an integral part of the London Irish pre season tour and is a great fixture to achieve.
