New Year starts off well for Salmo!!
2012 already looks very promising for Salmo at all levels, apart from the first team being second in their league, the J4's beat Trinity 13-5 on Saturday in Santry in their top of the table clash. This victory put Salmo clear at the top of their league section, with Peter Tunney scoring a memorable Try during the game.
On Sunday the J1's beat Wanderers 18-12 at Lansdowne Road in their top of the table clash to also put them top of their league section. Two good, though wins away from home, well done to both teams.
Also last Saturday the J2's had their third consecutive win when they beat a very useful Wesley team 14-6 at home and as momentum builds they have an interesting run in, with the top of the table within their capabilities.
The U-21’s also had a fine win over St Mary’s in The JP Flanagan Pennant game where they won 40-0. The J5’s were beaten 15-8 by Bective in a competitive game in their league.
