With sixteen acres and three bars at Kirwan Park, it's possible for us to facilitate an event of any size!
The facility is managed by our catering partners The Step Inn and is run by Derek Carroll who has over 20 years experience in the hospitality and catering industry. Derek and his friendly team ensure that all bookings are run professionally and that you receive that personal touch to ensure your event runs smoothly, with the focus being on making sure your guests enjoy your event and their visit to our club.
We can host a wide range of functions including: birthday parties, christenings, residents associations meetings, Weight Watchers meetings, tag/touch rugby tournaments and corporate events.
Derek's team can accommodate all your requirements: a full range of musical/entertainment options (DJs, bands, jazz, traditional singers) is availale; our in-house catering team will satisfy your every dining requirement from soup and sandwiches to a five-course silver-service meal; transport to and from the club (Taxi/Mini-bus) can be arranged; and any other requirements you may have.
The Ellis Bar
The main bar at the clubhouse is the Ellis Bar. This accommodates approximately 100 people, has a large screen and two HD flat-screen TVs, helping to create a unique atmosphere. For larger functions, you can also extend from The Ellis into The Acton Bar which can hold another 60 people.
Off the Ellis Bar is the balcony that overlooks our three pitches; adjacent is a terraced area which hosts our BBQ shack and a number of picnic tables. These are ideal for good weather and can accommodate 80 people comfortably for food and drinks, allowing easy access back to the main clubhouse on the same floor. Parking outside the clubhouse can cater for up to 200 cars.
The Presidents' Bar
The Presidents' Bar is on the same floor and accommodates about 25 people; all three areas look out onto a beautiful view of the Dublin Mountains.
The Stratton Hall Function Room
The Stratton Hall is our main function room and can accommodate full-sit down meals for up to 160 people; it will also comfortably accommodate 250 people for discos, etc. It has its own bar, which has the kitchen situated next to it, allowing easy access for serving of food.
The Kitchen Facilities
We have a full catering kitchen that can serve food for any parties or functions that you may wish to hold in the club. With the experienced catering staff of our new bar partner The Step Inn, your event is sure to be a huge success.
