U20s to Compete in JP Fanagan Premier 2

We are delighted to confirm that our men's U20 side will compete in Division 2 of the JP Fanagan Premier League this season under a refreshed coaching group led by Niall Smullen (Head Coach) and Rob Wolfe (Attack Coach) with the continued involvement of Gordon Shaw and Richard Andreucetti.

While predominantly a young group, with a large number of players making the step up to U20s rugby for the first time following last season’s highly successful Salmo 18.5s campaign, there is also valuable experience within the squad. Second-year U20s players such as Finn Saunders and David Burke will have an important role to play both on and off the pitch, helping to guide the younger members of the squad and providing some continuity from last season.

The group has also been boosted by the return to Salmo of Ruairi Fox, following his successful season with Wesley College where he was part of their SCT League-winning side. His experience of playing at a high level will add further quality and leadership to an exciting young squad.
